Privacy Policy

Privacy policies on websites are weird!

We know we have to have them due to European legal requirements. Privacy policies are ambiguous and complicated but we will try to break them down for you.

What we can say is that we don’t purposefully store your personal information beyond the data that is necessarily exchanged to view this website in your browser.

What we do know is that this website is hosted by Digital Ocean in the United States. If you are interested, there are several services to check the publicly accessible hosting information for any website.

WE DO Not Store ‘Cookies’ on this website. Cookies are text files that are stored temporarily or permanently on your computer to identify you as a recurring visitor. We use a headless content management system that (Storyblok) limits our need for ‘cookies’.

Services, this website access or links to, are built with or embedded on certain pages may use cookies. Use browsers such as Brave or Firefox to avoid third-party cookies by default.

This website also deploys and links content and services offered from third-party providers such as our Google Form. These third-party providers implement ‘cookies’

Service providers you’re likely to encounter on these pages are Instagram, Facebook, and Google amongst others. To be honest we hadn’t had the time to read their respective privacy policies. We assume they comply with GDPR.

When we embed content from these services through their provided embed codes or APIs, this might trigger cascades of cloud-based processes that are obscure. We are not aware of or in control of these processes, though. We treat these services with a mix of suspicion and convenience that seems to be prevalent while navigating the world wide web.

We don’t use Google Analytics to track your visit to the site. But services from the mentioned third-party providers might be running tracking services in the background. Add Ghostery extension to your preferred browser to see who tries, and who is prevented from doing so.

It seems almost too obvious to write this here, but as a regularly updated website, some or all of the content on this site may be amended, deleted, or (occasionally) no longer shown after it has been published before.

Just to be on the safe side, here’s a small disclaimer: We are not liable for any material or immaterial damage arising in connection with the use or non-use of the information provided on this website. As well as the misuse of the possible third-party provider content, or any malicious attack that might happen.
